BELL acted as the Construction Manager at Risk and the General Contractor. Involved in the design process, review of plans, assistance with budgets, and constructability recommendations, BELL utilized ABC techniques for the replacement of the two bridges. BELL maintained four lanes of interstate traffic on detour routes and replaced the Belvoir bridge using conventional methods. This project consisted of substructure enhancements on I-24 bridge over Germantown Road, including pipe piles, micropiles, temporary shoring, and new abutment walls. ABC superstructure replacement of beams, deck panels, abutment blocks, pavement at bridge end panels. Project also included the complete conventional replacement of Belvoir Avenue over I-24.
