About Regional Special Events Center:
Since its official grand opening on September 12, 1998, the Regional Special Events Center has been used for a variety of shows and entertainment. The facility has been host to basketball games, concerts, conventions and trade shows. Because it is a multipurpose facility, it has housed many types of events while maintaining quality status with clients and operators. The project included construction of a 240,000 square foot basketball arena with seating capacity for 8,600. It also houses an indoor running track and a tennis practice area.
