Rick Bruining

Rick Bruining is the Director of Justice in the Building Division specializing in the Justice & Corrections market sector. Rick served his country in the United States Navy – Fighter Squadron 11. He brings decades of construction experience especially as it pertains to the justice and correctional market. His previous experience includes positions as agency construction manager, construction administration, detention equipment contractor, general contractor, design-build and construction manager at risk on local, federal, state and private corrections projects. He has been involved on over 150 correctional projects nationwide with over 34,000 beds, and is recognized as an expert in this field. Additionally, Bruining has presented at several national conferences. He is responsible for the overall management and direction of correctional projects from preconstruction to closeout, ensuring financial outcomes, technical success, and quality. He builds strategic client relationships and successfully translates customer needs into the finished product.
