BELL strives to promote an ethical and fair environment that enables and encourages small and diverse businesses in the local workforce to contribute their full potential to help us successfully deliver projects to our clients. In line with this commitment, we are proud to announce that we are hosting a training to help small and diverse business enterprises learn how they can leverage their status to gain more business.
The event, which will be held on August 10, 2021, at the Music City Center in Nashville, TN, will cover:
- The benefits of becoming certified with real examples of success stories
- How to do business with larger companies, specifically covering BELL’s prequalification and bid process
- How BELL works with and assists small and diverse businesses
- An overview of the various types of certifications and a summary of the certification process for certifying for each participating organization/agency
- An explanation of the reciprocity offered across various entities so you can leverage your certification even further
Speakers include representatives from several local, state, and regional organizations and agencies, including:
- Carol Greenlee – Principal, Business Resource Group, LLC
- Kebbyn Connell, MCA – Certification Specialist, Business Diversity Development, BNA | MNAA
- Jessica Starling – Procurement Program Director, Governor’s Office of Diversity Business Enterprise (GoDBE)
- Jerval Watson – Business Development Officer, Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County
- Derrick Dowell – Vice President, TriState Minority Supplier Development Council
We will also have representation from the BELL Team, including:
- Kelly Frizzell – Preconstruction Administrator, BELL Construction
- Jenny Hassell – Project/Contract Administrator, BELL Construction
