BELL’s involvement in the construction industry doesn’t stop at our job sites. We build partnerships throughout the community by serving as active members and sponsors of various professional organizations, as well as local commerce / economic groups.
BELL’s team members can be found volunteering, serving on boards and committees, participating in young professional and leadership programs, and attending programs and events of the organizations shown below.
We are involved with several architecture/engineer/construction (A/E/C) organizations, including those with specialty focuses like heavy civil/infrastructure construction, marketing, or sustainability, as well as related fields like commercial real estate (CRE) development and urban planning.
Our founder, Ray Bell, was instrumental in the development of the Greater Tennessee chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors organization in 1971. In fact, his name appears on the original articles of incorporation as he was one of the founding members.
As such, BELL Construction is proud to be part of the elite Executive Club as a Merit Partner. To celebrate the chapter’s 50th anniversary, BELL signed on to be the Platinum Sponsor of the Bigger & Better Building Campaign. With the chapter’s significant growth, they are now moving to a new office location, and we are excited to have their new boardroom named after our company.
We are also honored to have Ray’s legacy memorialized annually through the ABC’s Rodgers-Bell Award, which is presented each year at the ABC Greater Tennessee’s Excellence in Construction Awards to the chapter member who exemplifies the same tenacity, understanding, love and service toward the organization as did Ray and fellow founding member, Joe Rodgers. This award is the most prestigious award that the ABC Greater Tennessee chapter can bestow upon a member.
Our own Eric Pyle, Member & President, is also currently serving as the Past Chairman on the ABC Executive Committee.
Construction is one of the most integral components and telltale signs of the health of a community’s economy, so our involvement and partnerships do not stop with professional organizations. BELL has always been an active member and supporter of our local chambers and economic groups, as our work and theirs go hand-in-hand.
