Glenn Moreland has more than 35 years of experience across various roles within the construction industry, including project management and preconstruction/estimating. In his current role as Director of Preconstruction on BELL Construction’s Building Division Team, Glenn is involved in a majority of the company’s building projects.
He responsible for:
Managing the preconstruction/estimating team, which includes estimators, preconstruction administrators, and project/contract administrators
Coordinating the procurement process, which includes advertising available contracts, collecting bids, evaluating submissions, and preparing cost proposals
Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain the best pricing for our clients
Submitting cost proposals and hard-bids for projects across a variety of markets
Building relationships with developers/owners, architects/designers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other trade partners
Completing value engineering/value analysis services and constructability reviews
Helping to ensure meaningful participation from small and diverse businesses on BELL’s contracts
